Special Events

Assist with special events at the JRC Adult Day Center such as our yearly fashion show, car show, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist with the special event in any way needed – to be determined prior to event Requirements: • Professional appearance • Fun • Friendly, out-going personality • Dependable and punctual • Personable • Self-Directed, willing to take initiative • Respect and maintain confidentiality of members Time Commitment: • Several hours – before, after and during the event.

Lunch Aide

Put a smile on someone’s face, as you serve a hearty noon meal to older adults! The Lunch Aide assists with lunch prep, serving members and light clean-up at the JRC Adult Day Center. Prep includes help with setting up tables, preparing beverages and other needed tasks. The Lunch Aide may also assist with serving lunches, bussing and sanitizing tables as well as assist with snack prep. They may also assist with other light duties. You’ll be rewarded with grateful smiles from the members we serve. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Prep for lunch and snack • Assist with serving food items and beverages • Assist with spills and clean-up • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Friendly, out-going personality • Dependable and punctual • Personable • Self-Directed, willing to take initiative • Respect and maintain confidentiality of members Time Commitment: • Lunch Aides are scheduled: Weekdays 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Intergenerational Connections Program Assistant

This person enjoys working with children and seniors. The Intergenerational Connections Program Assistant at JRC Adult Day Center helps to implement planned activities, guide and assist the children and members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist children and seniors with planned and engaging activities • Assist staff as directed Requirements: • Fun • Friendly, out-going personality • Dependable and punctual • Personable • Self-Directed, willing to take initiative • Respect and maintain confidentiality of members and children Time Commitment: • An IG Assistant is needed 2 Hour per week: Fridays – 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
